SUNDAY ROAST

Every Sunday. From 12–6.45pm. We serve what we think (and what our customers consistently tell us) is one of the best roast dinners in Wiltshire and the south-west. The Observer Food Monthly’s round-up of the country’s best Sunday roasts once agreed with us, too. Choose from pork, chicken, beef or our sharing lamb platter for two. There’s a vegetarian/vegan option, with a mushroom, spinach and pine nut pithivier. And for those who prefer fish over meat, and chips over roasties, then we have fish and triple-cooked chips with tartare sauce and bashed minted peas to round off our Sunday offering. All of our roast dinners come with a tumescently impressive Yorkshire pudding. And, don’t fear, we run a bottomless gravy policy, so never fret to ask for more!
